Symptoms we see at our clinic

If any of these sound familiar, an assessment with one of our registered osteopaths is a sensible first step.

Osteoarthritis of the knee

Stiff, achy knees, especially first thing or after sitting.

Hip arthritis

Pain in the groin, side of the hip or buttock with walking.

Arthritic hands & thumbs

Painful grip, opening jars, turning keys or sewing.

Spinal arthritis

Stiff lower back or neck that improves with movement.

Shoulder arthritis

Loss of reach, pain at night and difficulty dressing.

Post-surgery recovery

Stiffness and compensations after a hip or knee replacement.

Our approach

Arthritis can't be reversed — but the pain and stiffness it causes very often can be improved. We focus on settling irritated joints, freeing up the muscles that have tightened around them, and keeping you moving.

Treatment is always tailored to what your body is happy with on the day, with gentle joint mobilisation, soft-tissue work and clear advice on activity, weight-bearing and exercise.

Many of our older patients come back every few months for a 'top-up' to keep things ticking over. We're happy to take that approach with you.
